ALTERNATIVE. INDEPENDENT. CREATIVE. BOLD.
Fringe San Miguel Performing Arts Festival is the first bilingual Fringe in Latin America and the only one in Mexico.
The original Fringe (in Edinburgh) has become the largest arts festival in the world; in 2014, it was host to 3,193 shows in 299 venues. There are currently 270 other Fringe festivals around the world.
This kind of festival offers audiences the chance to experience fresh, original, experimental performances and to celebrate the uninhibited creativity of emerging, innovative artists. Another key element of the Fringe philosophy is maintaining accessibility to a diverse community.
Fringe San Miguel also offers workshops and educational outreach to promote artistic exchange between cultures and generations.
